Strength in Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
In a world that celebrates strength, power, and self-sufficiency, the apostle Paul presents us with a paradox: God's power is made perfect in our weakness. This is counter-cultural and counter-intuitive, yet it is at the very heart of the Gospel.
Paul had a 'thorn in the flesh' — a persistent struggle that he asked God to remove three times. Instead of removing it, God gave him something far greater: sufficient grace. When we acknowledge our weakness, we create space for God's power to work through us.
Your struggle today — whether it's a health challenge, a broken relationship, financial pressure, or spiritual dryness — can become the very platform through which God displays His glory.
